In Burns Lake, the only traffic is on the mountain biking trails. Head a few minutes north from Burns Lake to Boer Mountain Recreation Site. On over 4,000 hectares of Crown Land, you will find more than 90 km of world-class mountain biking trails and Canada’s first International Mountain Biking Association’s Ride Centre.
During the winter months, you can pack up your whole family (dogs included) and hit the trails at Omineca Ski Club, one of Canada’s oldest cross-country ski clubs. Not only does Omineca offer a world-class biathlon range, but it is also home to Aidan’s Dog Trail, a loop for both skiers and their four-legged friends to enjoy.
